DevTrax: Entrepreneurial and Workforce Development

Throughout each year, Cohab offers classes, workshops, and bootcamps in a variety of subjects. Please see below for upcoming classes.

Have a business you need to grow? Want to start a new business and find success? Know you have a great product or service, but realizing there’s more to it than that? Are you stuck?

Get unstuck and have fun learning from Shreveport-Bossier’s best and brightest with Cohab’s NewVenture class!

In this class, we’ll be venturing out into the community to see how successful entrepreneurs are doing it right and discussing how that relates to your business. We’ll visit local businesses like Twisted Root Burger, Red River Brewing Company, and Rhino Coffee to see how they’re implementing the best practices you’re learning. There might even be an opportunity for a burger and a pint along the way.

This course will cover the most important elements you need to focus on to make your business successful, from subjects like market analysis and financial set up to less tangible, but no less important topics like living the entrepreneurial life and what that means for you and your family.

Build the knowledge base you need to succeed. Meet your peers. Walk away with a business plan. And most importantly, enjoy doing it, with NewVenture at Cohab.
